De Belgische pianist Pieter Bogaert is een gepassioneerd liedbegeleider en kamermusicus. Hij treedt regelmatig op in duorecitals en werkt als piano coach aan het ArtEZ conservatorium in Zwolle. Bij de Dutch National Opera Academy werkte hij mee aan recente producties zoals Il ritorno d\u2019Ulisse in patria en de double bill Die sieben Tods\u00fcnden\/Der Kaiser von Atlantis, als repetitor en orkestpianist in het Residentie Orkest.
Na eerdere studies natuurkunde studeerde Pieter bij Frank van de Laar aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam, waar hij in 2023 zijn master voltooide. Voordien studeerde Pieter bij David Earl in Cambridge en Raymond Fischer in Oxford.
Pieter nam deel aan talrijke masterclasses van docenten en solisten als Boris Berman, Naum Grubert, Jan Wijn en Boris Giltburg. Hij deed dit onder andere in het kader van festivals als The International Holland Music Sessions, Festival Jong Talent Schiermonnikoog, Ver\u00e3o Cl\u00e1ssico festival in Lissabon en het Internationaal Lied Festival Zeist.
Pieter treedt regelmatig op in wisselende bezettingen, en hij houdt zowel van instrumentaal als vocaal repertoire. Zo vormt hij een duo met altviolist Jos\u00e9 Nunes en liedduo\u2019s met countertenor Gerben van der Werf en sopraan Elisa Maayeshi. Voor liedrepertoire volgde Pieter masterclasses van onder anderen Elly Ameling, Malcolm Martineau, Gerold Huber, Roberta Alexander en Christine Sch\u00e4fer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Dutch National Opera Academy, he collaborated on recent productions such as Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria and the double bill Die sieben Tods\u00fcnden\/Der Kaiser von Atlantis, both as a r\u00e9p\u00e9titeur and as orchestra pianist in the Residentie Orkest.
After studying physics, Pieter studied with Frank van de Laar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he completed his master\u2019s degree in 2023. Prior to that, Pieter studied with David Earl in Cambridge and Raymond Fischer in Oxford.
